University of Zaragoza, M.Sc. Telecommunications Engineering with specialization in Telematics (2009)

Ms. Artigas is a patent adviser in the electromechanical department. Her practice focuses on patent prosecution, opinion work and patentability searches, particularly in the area of telecommunications.

Immediately before joining ABG in 2011, Ms. Artigas was a patent examiner assistant in the Audio Video Media Department of the European Patent Office in The Hague, where she dealt with matters ranging from multimedia set-top device and server circuitry to video-on-demand and time domain synchronization. Ms. Artigas’ thesis concerned digital video and audio transmission over IP networks for surveillance applications and was done in collaboration with Spanish firm Orbe Telecomunicaciones, S.L., where she was a project manager assistant from 2008 to 2009.

Ms. Artigas is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English and French.
