Dr. Rodríguez has been a patent adviser in the biotechnology department since 2011. Her practice is focused on opinion work, drafting patent applications and patent prosecution in the area of biotechnology.
Before she joined ABG, Dr. Rodríguez was a postdoctoral researcher (2007-2010) at the National Centre for Biotechnology, Spanish National Research Council (CNB-CSIC), where she investigated the role of the proto-oncogene c-Myc in B cell development. Her thesis work concerned transcriptional regulation of the SND p102 protein, which is involved in lipid metabolism, and included a stay at the University of California in San Diego (2005).
She has published papers in peer-reviewed journals (Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, etc.) and presented her work at international scientific meetings.
Dr. Rodríguez is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English and French.
