Dr. Pettersson is a patent adviser in the chemistry department. Her practice is focused on patent prosecution and opinion work in the areas of pharmaceuticals and chemistry.

Before she joined ABG, Dr. Pettersson was a researcher at IQS, Universitat Ramon Llull, working on university-industry collaboration projects related to the synthesis of drug derivatives (2008-10). Her thesis work was focused on virtual screening and synthesis of HIV entry inhibitors. Her pre-doctoral research included a stay at the Computer-Chemie-Centrum, Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany (2002-03).

She has published papers in peer-reviewed journals (Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling, ChemMedChem, Mini Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry, etc.) and presented her work at international scientific meetings.

Dr. Pettersson is a native speaker of Spanish, Catalan and Swedish, and is fluent in English and German.
